Performance numbers on Apple's SATA firmware update

I recently updated my Mac's firmware and thought I'd publish the performance difference 3Gbs SATA makes..

Specs:
13" Macbook Pro
160 GB Intel X25-m

Without the update (average):
66.84MB /sec uncached reads. 61MB /sec uncached writes.



With the update (average):
105.50 MB /sec uncached reads, 70.63 MB /sec uncached writes


That's a 58% performance increase on reads and a 15.8% increase on writes!
